"Datafall" is a computer-graphics brooch. The artwork for it was created using a graphics program running on a Macintosh computer. The pattern was then pounded into annealed silver foil by running the foil through the computer printer. (They don't call 'em print hammers for nothing!) After cutting from the sheet, the brooch was electroformed in silver for strength and then gold plated. This brooch won 2nd prize in the 1988 MacWorld magazine computer art contest.
