This is the "clean room" I used to make twisted-nematic liquid crystal displays. From the left- vacuum fill chamber for filling displays, electrostatic air filter, UV lamp for exposing photoresist, stereo microscope, precision controlled ovens for curing various coatings, molecular alignment buffer, high precision screen printer. While home made, this room was particulate free and the equipment worked.
