"Visage Mnemonique" is a cybernetic jewel, running an assembly language program on a Motorola single chip microcomputer, to control the configuration of the LCD segments in real time. There are 6 picture elements that make up the face. The computer program presents these pixels randomly, but it does not allow all pixels to be displayed at once, requiring the viewer to integrate the face image in visual memory.
