During my time as a jewelry artist, I sometimes used guns as metal-working tools, to blast and tear highly deformed, jagged shapes into titanium metal. I then electro-oxidized the titanium in brilliant, irridescent colors, creating jewelry ojects that were both stimulating and beautiful to look at, as well as dangerous to wear. This photo was taken during one such ballistic metal forming session.
